We all know the controversy surrounding facebook and its terms and conditions. There was huge uproar about deleted/disabled accounts from users remaining on the facebook servers forever making it possible for users to login and re-activate their accounts even a year after they disabled it with all information still in tact. Now facebook has enabled a way for users to permanently disable and delete your facebook account.
