Its indeed more secure and fast as comapred to previous versions. I think Firefox is far better than IE because it comes with endless customization possibilities and add ons. I mean it is so stable that you just love it. New interface and features, just delight. Only thing sad about it is that some extensions of Firefox 2 don't work on Firefox 3 but those too are updating and should work fine in some time to come. I've been a Firefox user for years now and they just keep getting bigger and better. I never touch my IE browser anymore, and since I have been using Firefox, spyware creeping into my computer has went down tremendously. I can see why there were so many downloads.
