Softbank Promotes iPhone with Major Discounts

If you’re looking for an easy catch with the iPhone 3G, then you might find what you’re looking for in Japan. Sometime near the end of February 2009, Softbank Mobile Corporation launched the “iPhones for Everybody Campaign”, where the present costs of this great handset is reduced for those who avail of their program which will last from Feb. 27 to May 31.
Basically, a customer will just need to sign up for an installment plan which, overall, will reduce the payment of the 16 GB model of the iPhone to JPY 11,520, which would be paid at JPY 480 per month for 24 months (for US buyers, that’ll be approximately $118). In addition to this, subscribers will also be given a big discount on the communication service from JPY 5,985 to JPY 4,410 per month.
If you want to avail of these benefits, all you have to do is to sign up for their two-year “White Plan” contract.
