Nintendo DSi sells 435,000 units in the first week!

Author JoeDigital

The Nintendo DSi didnt have to much fanfare when it first was released, with the opinion that the new model just didnt have enough upgraded features to warrant users upgrading (see DSI vs PSP in one of our earlier posts. But suprisingly after only a week on the market the DSi has sold over 435,000 units which is almost double the number of units sold by the DS Lite in the same time period after its release. We have not heard of the units sold of the new PSP-3000 stand alone unit that came out this same month (but we are pretty sure the sales are pretty dismal)
