New breed of software that is malicious comes with a feature specially designed to realize security technology online which Bank of America implemented along with many other institutions that are financial which offers their customers to make changes and monitor their accounts through the web. This feature was identified in the latest version of Pinch which is well known and distributed widely. It’s a program of Trojan horse which provides the capability to steal passwords and user names from users’ computer. This newly identified Pinch version looks for special token and steals them which are then implanted on machines which do bank transactions online by using a function called Adaptive Authentication. This is also commonly called as “Site Key”. This is a simple feature with stores the authentication questions, answers and list of details that a financial institution uses to verify the user details. The Pinch checks the directory of the users’ machine and steals these details making the user vulnerable to phony users.
