Dell Meets Carbon Neutrality Goals – Go Green!
Author JoeDigital
This week, Dell announced that it has already met its “greenest tech company on the planet” carbon reduction goals for the year. These goals were set 11 months ago, and had been targeted for being met by the end of 2008, making it 5 months ahead of schedule. Michael Dell remarked “This includes setting new standards for energy efficiency and green power, delivering environmental and cost savings for customers and aligning key growth priorities with our focus on preserving our shared Earth. Every company can join Dell and the ReGeneration in this long-term commitment.”
On top of this globally green announcement, Dell also announced that it would be investing in wind power in developing nations, such as India, and China, as well as continued investments here in North America. Dell is already lauded for their protection of 591 thousand acres of forest land in Madagascar.

I guess that DELL wants to cash in those people who are pro-earth and thus will be receiving more order.
This computer is perfect for someone who green peace. I bet that those green peace advocates are eyeing for this computer.
For me, I don’t think that I would buy one if I were a in the pro-green movement because I can just style and color my computer on how I would like it to be. This is just a simple process that most techie knows.
I think DELL has been at the center of innovation in recent times. They frankly have been dominating the Value for money segment in the laptop market, and if they continue to become more eco-friendly, they sure would be garnering a lot more admirers. And yeah, the Pale green laptops do looks cool, and if its an XPS, Double credits :D
