CES 2009: LG Touch WatchPhone
CES 2009: LG Touch WatchPhone
Author JoeDigital

Almost everyone alive today grew up with Dick Tracy in the comics, with his handy wrist phone that did everything he needed. And now, it has become a reality.
One of the most innovative and useful personal gadgets at this year’s CES was the LG watch phone. It’s 3G capable, has a 1.4 inch screen, and is packed with features. This is perhaps the smallest smartphone created so far, and heralds in an era of micro technology beyond the wildest dreams of all but a small portion of the world.
It is bluetooth capable, and packs such useful applications as video and still imaging with its built in camera, and a speaker that doubles as the sound system for your favorite music files. This is the first time that a gadget of this type has stepped out of the science fiction realm and into the hands of eager consumers, and its coming soon, perhaps even in the first quarter of 2009.
On a lighter note, the smaller technology gets, the harder it is to carry around without losing, unless, as with the LG Touch WatchPhone, you can simply strap it your wrist.
