A new mini is coming, for all the fans of  this kind of car, the new version is going to be:

• It will be powered by a 150 kW (204 hp)
• electric motor fed by a high-performance rechargeable lithium-ion battery, transferring its power to the front wheels via a single-stage helical gearbox nearly without a sound and entirely free of emissions.
• Specially engineered for automobile use, the battery technology will have a range of more than 250 kilometers, or 156 miles.

The MINI E will initially be made available to select private and corporate customers as part of a pilot project in California, New York and New Jersey. The company is looking into expanding the MINI E pilot to include Europe.

Hyundai Avante Hybrid

Hyundai Avante Hydrid will be reveiled at 2009 Seoul Motor show that will be held on 2nd April.
Avante LPI Hybrid is the first hybrid car that uses LPG. It has 1600cc gamma LPI HEV engine with mild hybrid system. A fuel efficiency is 17km/L and when users drive this car for a year, they can save the cost of fuel comparing with a car burning gasolin.
And Hyundai tried to modify outfit of the ew Avante. Lithium ion polymer battery is built into the car, so it could weigh less and also reduce volume.

It is time to save money, gasoline is so expensive, so why not… electrical cars are the best option. the new Tesla Model S Electric sedan, is coming in 2012 with a cost of $57,400 base model (a federal tax credit can shave $7,500 from the price) In its most powerful configuration, the Model S would weigh “about 4,000 pounds” and have a top speed of more than 130 miles an hour, Mr. Musk said. It is said to accelerate from a standing start to 60 miles an hour in less than six seconds. The $109,000 Tesla Roadster can sprint to 60 miles an hour in four seconds.

The LS and LT are powered by a 300-hp direct-injected 3.6-liter V6 with a six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic transmission. The SS?s 6.2-liter V8 generates 422 horsepower with the standard six-speed manual, and 400 horsepower with the optional six-speed automatic with sequential shift control. Standard equipment on all Camaros includes independent rear suspension, StabiliTrak stability control with traction control, six airbags, air conditioning, OnStar and XM satellite radio. The LT adds fog lights, 18-inch alloy wheels and power driver?s seat, while the SS features unique front fascia, sport suspension, Brembo brakes, limited slip differential and a rear spoiler.

The forbes announced the most beautiful cars in history.

The forbes gathered the experts’ opinions and chose 11 gorgeous cars. And Ferrari was the only company that took more than 2 cars on the ranking. Ferrari 250 GT SWE and 250 Testarossa Pontoon Fender were praised by experts because of their functionalities and refined design.

Porsche 911 was also ranked even though its design has never changed for 40 years.

In addition, Mercedes-Benz 540k Special Roadster, Jaguar E-Type 3.8 FHC, McLaren F1 and bugatti Type 41 Royale were ranked.

Electronic Sun Visor

If every morning you have to travel east and in the evening to west, but everytime when you are driving, you have to find the way to drive with the sun in front of you. A solution that Volkswagen is developing an electronic anti-glare system using an electronic matrix within the glass controlled by a computer to block the rays of the sun.

A sun status sensor and a sensor that determines the eye position of the driver both feed signals to the computer, which calculates the point of sunlight entry within the viewing angle of the driver’s eyes. The computer then produces a dark “spot” in the glass electronic matrix to block sunlight at that location

150 new designers who are with Daimler designed this car. This new design is associated with a carriage and has big wheels. When it is charged once, it can run 354km as 25km/h.

It was designed for hydrid car that pushes less fuel gasses out, so it will be fit for reducing environmental pollution and figuring out energy shortage problem.
