ZeroX Electric Motorcycle
Author itzco | 09.04.2009 | Category automobile
Did you was thinking that only exist elecric cars? The answer is no, now exist power motorcycles, like the Vectrix Electric Superbike, It has a top speed of around 125mph, a range of around 70 miles and it’ll eat up the quarter mile in around 12 seconds, so it’s clearly got some punch behind the throttle. It’ll go into production if interest is high enough
The battery’s a 240v, 7.5KWh unit but we’re currently unsure whether Vectrix has moved past NiMH onto the more effective but less well-known lithium-polymer units that are leading the development charge in terms of power and range.

Golf GTD

For all diesel fans, here it is The new Golf GTD with its 125 kW / 170 PS. This is where the GTD shows a clear affinity to the new GTI (155 kW / 210 PS). While the GTI is in its own league with an efficient turbo gasoline engine that offers the same performance as far more expensive sports cars, the Golf GTD is making its appearance with phenomenal fuel economy. Every 100 kilometers, just 5.3 liters of fuel flow through the piezo injection valves of the common rail engine that can hardly be pegged as a diesel. That is equivalent to CO2 emissions of just 139 g/km. This contrasts with a top speed of 222 km/h and 8.1 seconds for the sprint to 100 km/h.

Test Driving, Tata nano
Author Ciel501 | 06.04.2009 | Category automobile
Japanese Asihi TV went to the TATA head office –located in Pune, Indonesia and had a trial ride Tata nano. After test driving, they announced that Tata made unbelievable space and satisfactory details.
The model which Asahi had a trial ride was the cheapest one. This model has one side-mirror and one wiper to reduce the price. But when they drove that car, they were no problem. In addition, there was enough space inside that car.
Tata set the engine at the back part and made the back wheels thicker and bigger about 2cm to sustain the weight of the engine. That’s why even though the external is smaller than general small cars, internal space is enough to drive.
Because Nano has a two-cylindered engine, they worried about noise and shimmy. But the apprehensions proved unnecessary. They can reach 60km/h after 10 sec but even the driver is pro, it will be hard to reach 100km/h within 30 sec.
The shortcomings are break and handling. There isn’t a break buster and power stirring. But if you consider the incredible price, you can endure those kinds of stuffs.

The most expensive car in the world
Author itzco | 03.04.2009 | Category automobile
If you are so curious, and want to know which the most expensive car in the world is, here it is… “The most expensive car in the world is Bugatti Veyron with a cost $1,192,057.
Here it is the one of the reason why it is so expensive:
The automobile uses the same launch control technology as Formula 1 racing cars to reach maximum traction force from first to seventh gear and up to 400 km/h maximum speed.
The Veyron’s electronically controlled acceleration takes the car from standstill position beyond the 400 km/h threshold in less than one minute. Just activate launch control, engage gear, control the steering wheel, place your left foot on the brake, and keep your right foot on full throttle. If you release the brakes swiftly, you will accelerate on a par with veritable Formula 1 cars.
