50 years of mini

The company Mini, filial of BMW Group, celebrates their 50 years and with this motive has been presented two new especial versions of mini, “Mayfair and Candem” in honor of two districts of London. There is no limit of the production number of those editions, but they will be available only in the celebration year of Mini.

The new version will be available with 3 doors, motor diesel and gasoline of 1. litters, atmospheric and turbocharger. The version Mini 50 Candem, will be painted in silver white with white awning, although it is in Midnight Black and Horizon Blue, with an interior bicolor, black-white.

Mini 50 Mayfair is painted in two different browns, with an interior of the same color.

A different Shelby Cobra Daytona

The company Superformance dedicates to create duplicates of classic cars, one of these replicas was the Shelby cobra Daytona Coupe. Based in that model the company Exotic Auto Restoration made some modification on the aluminum body of the car, making it more extreme.
The aesthetic of the car was modified, but it is similar like the authentic car. One of the principal changes of this car was the motor, because it wasn’t a classic Ford Widsor Vo or Shelby Vo of 7.0 litters with 560 hp, this car has an Roush 402 R with 530 Hp and the hole body is mostly of aluminum.

This sport car was named in honor of the sculptor Etrusco Vulca da Veio, and it will be offered in 3 versions:

2. – V12 of 7,1 liters and 530 Hp, wit 730 Nm
3. – V 12 of 7,5 liters and 600 Hp with 830 Nm.

Bugatti Veyron: The World’s “Fastest” Car

A new supercar with a claimed 1001 horsepower, the Veyron is currently the world’s fastest road car. With 16 cylinders formed by joining two V8 engines the Veyron can reach top speed of 407 km/h in just 42.3 seconds.

The Veyron must be unlocked by a special key in order to reach top speed. After being unlocked the car lowers to 3.5 inches above the ground and a hydraulic spoiler extends at speed and also can be used as an air brake.

Although weighing in at 4,160 lbs its handling is quite sharp. It is considered to be a huge achievement and possibly, according to Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson, the “best car ever made”. The Bugatti Veyron is currently selling for a whopping $1.3 million.

Now with the best technology, designers work in a old school car, like Cobra, imagine the model and the line of that car but now with the best technology of this time. Ac cars company is going to develop their new car “Cobra MkVI” at the Top Marques auto show in Monaco. Built in Germany, this supercar packs a 6.2-liter Corvette engine that outputs a whopping 647 hp for the GTS version (437 hp for the GT model) and helps it race to 62mph in a mere 3.3 seconds.

Mitsubishi i MiEV electric car in Vancouver

Its been reported by The Georgia Straight that BC Hydro and the city of Vancouver signed a deal with Mitsubishi for tests of the world’s first production-ready, highway-capable electric car. The Mitsubishi i MiEV is a new zero-emission, 100% electric car with extended range that is capable of highway travel and range of atleast 120KM and top speed of 130KM per hour. Another amazin thing about this car is the 63 horsepower electric motor located in the front of the vehicle and its ability to reach 80 kilometres per hour a second and a half faster than its gas-fuelled counterpart. Vancouver joins just a handful of cities around the world that have signed on with Mitsubishi to conduct performance tests of the i MiEV this year.
