Sometimes we just need something to make as an excuse in order to get out of a bad situation. Among those possible excuses include suddenly getting a phone call that you need to answer. Nobody can really argue against that.

That’s why iPhone has made it possible for you to get that much needed excuse at the right time. This application – called Fake Calls – allows the user to schedule your own mobile phone to ring as if somebody is calling you. The program even lets you design a name, number and specific ring tone in order to make it look like someone real is actually calling you. Furthermore, if you turn off the phone while it’s ringing, it will call you again to make the call sound urgent so you have no choice but to excuse yourself.

So if you like faking your own escapes this 99 cent application might be right for you. Just don’t overdo it – you can’t just go around excusing yourself from everything.
