The G1 seems to be delivering all it promised.

If you really want to know what the new T-Mobile G1, featuring Google Android, is all about, visit the Android G1 website. In addition to offering complete phone services, it provides instant search access through Google (or other favorite search enginges), saving of images and files, and more.

The website also has videos showing how to accomplish basic tasks. From start to finish, a day’s activities can be planned, mapped, processed, priced, paid for, and experienced. Frankly, the iPhone pales in comparison to a fully integrated environment that blurs the distinction between phone and computer, or business and leisure.  

The T-mobile G1 is advertised on telvision by promoting the search features, but the website goes to to illustrate a process from talking on the phone through purchasing tickets, and finding a map to get to the destination. And don’t forget that certain web-based applications are available, with more on the near-horizon.
