eye-fi wireless upload digital camera SD memory card

I was browsing the net and came across a really cool product, the eye-fi. The Eye-Fi is an SD memory card that has wireless capabilities on top of the memory storage. All you do is make a few simple configurations and you’re set to begin automatically uploading pictures. So, when you’re out and about taking fancy shots of downtown the card acts as a regular SD memory card and stores the files as it normally would. As soon as you return home, simply turn on your camera and it automatically begins to upload the images to your computer.

Canada says no to Ipod tax

Author JoeDigital | 12.01.2008 | Category Canada, Consumer Electronics

A big relief for music listeners all across Canada today. The Canadian Supreme Court won’t hear a case involving extra fees for iPods and other MP3 players in that country, ending a dispute over a so-called iPod tax, but rekindling debate over the legality of file swapping. With this new proposed tax by the Copyright Board of Canada, said in late 2003 that iPods and other hard-drive players were being used to copy music as well, and imposed a fee of up to $25 on the devices. In my opinion this would have further increased our already expensive MP3 players/ipods and promote more cross boarder shopping and hence would only hurt Canadian retailers in the long run. Author JoeDigital | 10.01.2008 | Category Windows

Year 2007 has been extremely good for fans of technology either you were bound on desktop largely or were on the move constantly.

Few of the technology products stood out due to the fact that their influence will be felt largely well in the near future. Irrelevant as you may even own these products but it is predicted to have an effect on the work that you do and it is none other than Windows Vista. You may love it, or hate it or perhaps still deciding on it but Windows Vista was declared most influential product for the year 2007 and has become the product that one must have for the years to come. As most of the world in computing are dependent on Windows and majority of software and hardware makers are also dependent on the windows in order to drive their sales. Windows Vista’s change in interface, security that is beefed up and the search capability that is enhanced has pushed its stand towards this acheivement.
